TESSAI TOMIOKA MUSEUM

Located on the grounds of Kyoshikojin Shrine, this museum puts on display works by Tessai Tomioka collected by Kojo Wajo XXXVII. There are more than 1,200 masterpieces between paintings and calligraphic works from predominantly his late years. Shows are changed about once every two months and, because displayed pieces are frequently changed out, visitors can see Tessaifs greatness no matter when they come.

How to get there: Get off Hankyu Railway at Kiyoshikojin. About 20 minutes on foot from there. Get off JR at Takarazuka. About 10 minutes by taxi from there.
Closed: Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday), 12/15 - 1/7
